| Making "T" Type Transitions |

1.) Rob Johnson National Training Manager for Basic Coatings |

2.) The blade is raised until the bottom of the carbide tip is level with the top of the board |

3.) The tongue of the board is cut off |

4.) Rob draws out the transition |

5.) First cut |

6.) Second cut |

7.) T transition taking shape |

8.) Adjusting blade height with saw turned off |
 |

9.) Cutting off waste to leave just T area |

10.) T transition takes shape |

11.) Taper ends |

12.) Completed but the center of the T will need to be supported. Place a small shim under the center when installed. |
